Preamble
- This Privacy Policy describes how Viora ("Viora", "we", "us"), FN 553790y, Vinzenzgasse 30/9, 1180 Vienna, processes the personal data collected from you when you use the Viora app.
- Viora treats your data confidentially and handles it responsibly. We comply with the applicable legal provisions on the protection, lawful handling and confidentiality of personal data, as well as on data security, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG).
- Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. This includes, for example, your name or your e-mail address.
Use of the app - fulfillment of the contract
- We process the following data to initiate and process business transactions relating to the services offered in the app:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Data about your usage behavior (e.g. content consumed)
- The processing of the data provided is carried out to fulfill the contract with you (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) - without the use of this data, we cannot provide the services you have selected.
- The personal data will be stored until your account is deleted.
Further processing purposes
- We process the following data to improve the Viora app:
- Information about user behavior in the app (e.g. number of visits, duration of the visit and path of the user during the visit incl. clicks)
- Information about app crashes
- The data provided will be processed exclusively on the basis of your voluntary consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
- Personal data will only be processed for this purpose until consent is withdrawn or the account is deleted.
- Viora GmbH needs the contact information you provide to us to contact you about our products and services. You can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time.
Transmission of your personal data
- We provide your personal data to the extent necessary to the following external service providers (processors) who support us in providing our services. All our processors process your data only on our behalf and on the basis of our instructions so that we can provide you with our services. These are the following service providers:
- IT service providers and/or providers of data hosting solutions or similar services; and
- other service providers, providers of tools and software solutions that also support us in the provision of our services and act on our behalf (including providers of marketing tools, providers of communication services).
- In addition, we transmit your personal data to the following recipients (controllers) to the extent necessary:
- Legal representatives in the event of a dispute and courts (our legitimate interests)
- Trustees, authorities, courts and other public bodies to the extent required by law (e.g. financial or data protection authority)
- Personal data will only be transferred to recipients in third countries outside the EEA if an adequacy decision has been issued by the European Commission for these countries, if we have provided suitable guarantees for the protection of personal data by concluding a legally binding document or if you have explicitly given your consent within the meaning of Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR for individual cases.

- You have the right to receive information in a clear, transparent and easily understandable way about how we process personal data and about your rights as a data subject (Art. 12 ff GDPR):
- You therefore have a right to information about the personal data we process about you. In addition, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and your personal data deleted (right to be forgotten). You can also revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future without giving reasons. You also have the right to restrict processing, to receive the data you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability) and the right to object.

- The personal data will be deleted for this purpose after any revocation of consent or after three years of inactivity in the Viora app.
- Viora needs the contact information you provide us to contact you regarding our products and services. You can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time.
